We're excited to announce a solo show by FF's Principal and Creative Director at the Nicollet Avenue Spyhouse Coffee, here in Minneapolis, MN. The show runs through January 14, 2013. If you're in the area please stop by and have a look and enjoy a cup of the best coffee in town!

Paul Gregory Gardner – Minneapolis-based designer and printmaker generates work for varied applications while always staying true to his original pursuit of creating handmade screen prints and posters. Most of the technique, stylization and subject matter incorporated in his work is reminiscent of a visual language and aesthetic drawn from the works created by the high-modernists of the mid-century. The hype along with the publicity he receives (both positive and negative) is a driving force behind his creations. All of the attention brought on by the controversy fuels his artistic drive along with the criticism he receives for it. Gardner’s design and poster work has exhibited on both national and international stages, embraced by institutions such as: MASS MoCA, MIA, Walker Art Center, Weisman Art Museum, and has embraced the recognition of highly regarded trade institutes: Communication Arts, HOW, and AIGA, to name a few.

We recently completed a short film that documents a portion of the screen printing process for Wilco's Rochester, MN show on July 2. The band generously donated all profits from this poster (and also the Duluth, July 1 poster) to help fund relief for the recent floods in the Duluth, MN area to the Red Cross' Northland Chapter. We couldn't ask to be working with a better group of people who we endlessly admire.
